Hello Denise, I really enjoy your reflection and especially your explanation of the concept of “God’s point of view”. You made it very clear and explained it in a very structured way. Even your explanation during our discussion made me understand it better. Regarding the discussion during the seminar, have you considered Kant questioned how knowledge could be structured and not where knowledge might come from? Great Job!
-
Hi Masha, I really enjoy your reflection and especially your explanation Coca-Cola can example. A great way to remember it! I also understood, that our world will always belong to us. In addition to these “basic” forms such as space and time you have mentioned, we mentioned higher categories such as race and gender. Great Job!
-
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts. What I liked about your "pre" lecture post is your clear and organized explanation. Your "post" lecture post I like that your participation in class become very obvious and it summarised really well what you learned through the lecture and the Seminar. Good Job!
-
Hi Jing Yang, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. In both of your blog posts, it becomes obvious that you have put a lot of work in it. I also really enjoyed your reflection. I also understood, that our world will always belong to us. In addition to these “basic” forms such as space and time you have mentioned, we mentioned higher categories such as race and gender. Great Job!

Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. I really enjoyed both of your blog posts and have to agree that we all perceive or "see/hear" the same experience but we will all gain knowledge from it in a different way. Regarding the discussion during the seminar, have you considered Kant questioned how knowledge could be structured and not where knowledge might come from? Great Job!

Hi Oscar, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I really enjoyed both of your texts, especially the first one since you explained it in a very clear way. I agree with you that we all perceive or "see/hear" the same experience but we will all gain knowledge from it in a different way. Good Job!
-
Hi Paul, i really enjoyed both of your blog posts and thanks to your questions during the seminar, it helped me to understand both texts better. It's great that you made the connection to your old course. Good Job!
-
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's interesting that you summarized the lecture and Seminar. It becomes obvious that you put a lot of work into it. Because of the discussion during the seminar, we clarified that Kant questioned how knowledge could be structured and not where knowledge might come from.

Kant discusses basic forms, e.g. space and time, which are hardly reduced to a linguistic concept. In addition to these “basic” forms, we mentioned higher categories such as race and gender. Good Job!

I really enjoyed reading your reflection! It shows that you have put a lot of work into it. I agree with your aspect about the concept of nominalism. It is very interesting that nominalism actually upholds National Socialism. Furthermore, I enjoyed your part about mass media and enlightment. In addition to this, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? Well done!
-
Thanks for sharing this detailed reflection! I really enjoyed reading your text as it is structured and easy to follow. Since I was in another group, I enjoyed reading about the connection between the lecture and the seminar. You mention a lot of different examples. I agree with you that I also understood the part about nominalism better after the seminar. In contrast to my approach that Nominalism undermines National Socialism, we figured out that it actually upholds it. I especially enjoyed your question about what Benjamin would think of the current mass media situation. What are your own thoughts about this? Well done!
-
Hi, this reflection shows all mentioned details we discussed in the seminar! It shows that you put a lot of work into it and that you have understood the concepts and their Connection to each other. Furthermore, I enjoyed your part about mass media and enlightment. In addition to this, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? Well done!
-
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! I agree with you that due to the lecture and Seminar I have understood the texts better. For example, I have learnt that my approach is correct but not what Adorno and Horkheimer tried to express. In contrast to my approach that Nominalism undermines National Socialism, we figured out that it actually upholds it. I thought that the mass media and enlightment part was really interesting. In addition to this, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? Well done!

I agree with you that I needed some time to understand both text but during the lecture and seminar everything was explained clearly. It would be interesting i you would share your other questions after the lecture as well. I agree with you that e. g. the first car or first iPhone had (more) aura than later models. Due to the mass media and enlightment part, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? I have learnt that my approach is correct but not what Adorno and Horkheimer tried to express. In contrast to my approach that Nominalism undermines National Socialism, we figured out that it actually upholds it. What are your thoughts on this?
-
Thanks a lot for sharing this detailed work! I really enjoyed reading your Explanation of Plato's metaphor. I agree with you that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like. I also think that society determines the culture. Well done!
-
I really enjoyed your introduction to this reflection since I had exactly the same feelings! You gave a lot of historical background information in your reflection which I find very helpful to get a "feeling" for the texts, In contrast to my approach that Nominalism undermines National Socialism, we figured out that it actually upholds it. Regarding the mass media and enlightment part, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? Your question at the end of your text would be really interesting to discuss. What are your thoughts on this? Well done!

In addition to this, have you considered that due to zooming and cutting you will get a fragmented picture of the world looks like? In contrast to my approach that Nominalism undermines National Socialism, we also figured out that it actually upholds it. Regarding your part about factories, we also mentioned that work will change ideas but ideas will not change work. Well done!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts - I could
definitely identify myself with them. I find your definition of theory really
interesting since it sums up everything perfectly what we have discussed in
class. Furthermore, I especially enjoyed your part about why we use theory. In
Addition to this, we also mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn and his paradigm shift.
Great Job!
Hi, I really enjoyed your blog post since it is
structured and easy to follow. I especially enjoyed your example of the saying
to underline the purpose of theory. Furthermore, we mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn
and his idea of a paradigm shift. All in all, I would have find it interesting
if you would have mentioned your own learnings from lecture and seminar. Great
Job!
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I
really enjoyed reading your blog post - especially the part about the typical
scientific cycle. In my group, we discussed this topic as well and came up with
almost the same conclusion. In addition to this, I find your differentiation of
research types really interesting. Furthermore, we mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn and
his paradigm shift. Great Job!
Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! I really
find it interesting since I could identify myself a lot. Furthermore, I really
enjoyed that you have mentioned the saying to underline your statement. We have
also mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn and his paradigm shift. I agree with you that this
lecture was extremely important for our academic career. Great Job!
Hi, thanks a lot or sharing your thoughts. I had a lot
of questions while preparing the first blog post and after the lecture as well.
In our Group we discussed that theory is an attempt to explain the causal logic
between cause and event. We figured out that hypothesis is a statement or guess
for research purpose which tries to explain two variables. In class, we stated
that theory is what is practice not. In addition to this, we mentioned Thomas
S. Kuhn and his paradigm shift. Great Job!
Hi Oscar, I really enjoyed reading your blog post

Hi Paul, great blog post! I especially enjoyed that
you mentioned your chosen paper in the beginning and briefly summarized it as
well. Furthermore, I find it interesting that you mentioned your learnings from
this week's seminar and lecture. In our group we discussed that theory is an
attempt to explain the causal logic between cause and event. We figured out
that hypothesis is a statement or guess for research purpose which tries to
explain two variables. In class, we stated that theory is what is practice not.

Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. I agree
with you had a hard time understanding the differences in the beginning. I also
found the discussion about what is man really interesting since it shows the
different aspects of mankind. In our group we discussed that theory is an
attempt to explain the causal logic between cause and event. We figured out
that hypothesis is a statement or guess for research purpose which tries to
explain two variables. In class, we stated that theory is what is practice not.
In addition to this, we mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn and his paradigm shift. Great
Job!
Hi, I really enjoyed reading your blog post! I
especially liked your thoughts if we could ever say that theory is true. As far
as I have understood it, you can say that truth is related to the state of
knowledge right now. Truth is relative. Furthermore, I enjoyed your discussion
about if mathematics could be considered as theory. In our group we discussed
that theory is an attempt to explain the causal logic between cause and event.
We figured out that hypothesis is a statement or guess for research purpose
which tries to explain two variables. In class, we stated that theory is what
is practice not. In addition to this, we mentioned Thomas S. Kuhn and his
paradigm shift. Great Job!
Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. I really
enjoyed reading your blog post since you have summed up all the important
aspects. I especially enjoyed the part about the "theory flow". In
our group, we also discussed this part and came up with almost the same
approach. Furthermore, I would like to add Thomas Kuhn and his paradigm shift,
which is a phrase to describe a change or "revolution" in the basic
concepts of a scientific discipline. Good Job!

Hi, I always enjoy reading your "after" blog
post since you give a detailed insight of your learning process. In the
discussion in class, we also mentioned that quantitative research methods allow
to apply the same metric on different people. In addition to this, we discussed
that an experiment is always designed and that qualitative and quantitative
research methods could be objective and subjective at the same time. One of the
most interesting parts of the lecture to me was the part about the body
ownership illusions. According to my approach in the first blog post, full body
ownership illusions can lead to substantial behavioural changes in the context
of musical performativity, depending on the appearance of the body. What do you
think about it? Well done!
Hi Paul, Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! Since I did not have
any course regarding qualitative and quantitative Research methods, I found
your input in the seminar and the summary in this blog post really helpful. One

researchers always influence the study with their preconceptions which means
that neither method can be completely objective. Well done!

reading the importance of the design process. Since you are in a different
seminar group, it is really interesting how you approach last week's theme. One
of the most interesting parts of the lecture to me was the part about the body
ownership illusions. According to my approach in the first blog post, full body
ownership illusions can lead to substantial behavioural changes in the context

details from the lecture. One of the most interesting parts of the lecture to
me was the part about the body ownership illusions. I agree with you about the
wicked aspect - I have not heard from it before either. Keep up the good work!
Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts in your
blog post and in the seminar. Since I did not have any course regarding
qualitative and quantitative Research methods, the disadvantage of using
quantitative methods is that the cause of a finding or an attitude such as
dissatisfaction is not determined. I found your input in the seminar and the
summary in this blog post really helpful. One of the most interesting parts of

Your reflection is always well executed and interesting to read. I also found
the different steps for a design research interesting - especially the case of
the hungry bear was very entertaining. Luckily, this week's theme was a
Repetition for you - too me this was pretty new. Good Job!
I agree with you that the lecture with Haibo Li was really interesting
and well structured. I also enjoyed the case of the hungry bear. It's a good
reminder for the different steps of the design research. As far as I understood
the second lecture a prototype is mostly to gain knowledge but I have to agree
with you that it was more a repetition. What are your thoughts on this? Good

week, you could not really discuss my findings or approaches from the “pre”
blog post in my opinion. With the lectures I was able to check my approaches
and find some differences/mistakes, but I missed the verbal interaction with
class mates in the seminar. The interactions always helped to get a different
perspective on the papers and exchange opinions. Well done.
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts.

Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! I agree with
you that a case study does not seek out to address specific hypothesis. I think
that it helps to enter into an area where you know too little and want to find
out more. The main point of a case study is to build a theory and not test
theory. I think that you mention you mentioned Feyerabend and his statement
that anything is possible in Research is very interesting. Since we did not
mention him in our seminar it is always nice to get some more information from
other groups. In addition, I like that you draw connections to previous themes
as it shows that you have understood the topic very well. Well done!
As this is the one of the last comments, I have to say that all your
